I'm Sophy Louise, a visual storyteller based in Glasgow. I’m inspired by people's stories and folklore, and I love celebrating strong ties to place and history within my work. Whether it's local projects that highlight Scotland and its people or print collections based on textiles, animals or even mythology - there’s interesting stories everywhere.

I spend a lot of my time designing products for my shop - which is available online, at my stall in the Barras market, Glasgow and EXCITINGLY now available to wholesalers - so stockists if you want to spice up your life I’m here :). Injecting a good ol’ dose of Scottish charm is a huge part of my practice. At Sophy Louise we don’t take ourselves too seriously - and create designs that will most definitely put a smile on your lovely face.

Are you available for work at the moment?

- Yes I am :) I work across various sectors within my practice - if you’ve got a visual story to tell, I can make that happen.

How long have you been working in the industry?

- I studied at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating with the Helen Bequest prize for Illustration in 2022 - but I was lucky to start freelancing during my studies and started illustrating childrens books in 2020.

How much does an Illustration cost?
